My Name Is Nick Benavides With Lane Built Homes. 

I was born and raised in Burleson, TX. I moved in 2008 to Stephenville, TX where I attended Tarleton State University and received my Bachelor in Business Management. 

My first professional tenure was with an Oil Company called FMC Technologies where I was the inside sales supervisor. During my time there I had the opportunity to join Toastmasters International which taught me to be a better leader, communicator, and a better professional. 

After my time with FMC Technologies, I moved to Abilene, where I was the regional sales manager for a lumber company. This is what intrigued me in the building industry as I got to work hand in hand with local builders and began to deepen my knowledge of the trades. I then worked for a countertop, flooring, and cabinet company where I was a sales manager and got to learn another integral part of the home-building process.

It was around this time that I began my deep dive into the building industry. I started working for a general contractor that specialized in building gas stations all over Texas and into New Mexico. During my time with them my main focus was to soak up all the information I could so that I could become the best builder I could. I then moved to the residential side of building, where I got to learn how to build a HOME. I worked with both custom home builders and spec home builders and took what I learned from them to turn my vision into reality. I want to incorporate what I've learned throughout my experience, put my own touch on the developments I build, and create the perfect homes for their forever families.
